Charlotte Christmas Special Counsel Practice Areas Banking & Finance Litigation

Charlotte joined the firm in 2001 and was appointed Special Counsel in 2007. Charlotte has a strong litigation background having practiced in a wide range of insolvency, bankruptcy, secured and unsecured debt recovery matters.

From 2003 to 2006 Charlotte established, maintained and developed a national mortgage enforcement and recoveries syndicate operating from Sydney. During this period she headed up the NSW arm of the syndicate, the Kemp Strang Collections Department, comprising over 30 staff. In this role she supervised the secured and unsecured legal services performed for over 10 major lending clients, as well as running their most contentious matters.

Since 2007 Charlotte has formed part of Kemp Strang's Strategy and Development Team. Her particular focus is to use her specialised skills and background in Collections client servicing to develop innovative and practical solutions for Collections clients and process efficiency within the Collections group.
