Our Credentials

Kemp Strang has over 30 years experience in enforcing mortgages over residential and commercial property and recovering assets and unsecured debts.

Our experience gives us a genuine understanding of the lending industry, its particular business needs, commercial issues and challenges.

Recognising that lenders require the fastest and most efficient service in order to manage risk and mitigate loss, we overhauled our Collections practice and developed Kemp Strang National Collections in 2003. The feedback we have received from clients since then has been very positive.

Service Levels

Our mortgage enforcement and debt recovery services are delivered according to a rigorous service level timeline. At the same time our robust and versatile reporting functionality enables our clients to check on progress at every step and to obtain customised progress reports whenever they want them.

Overcoming obstacles

Our Collections staff are trained to identify obstacles in the legal process expeditiously and to make pragmatic, commercially focused recommendations about how best to proceed. Our recommendations always have regard to the protection of our client's brand and of the relationship between our client and their customers.

Our web solution

Our home-grown online data platform is a unique solution for our clients to better manage cost and risk. Instructions are submitted online, the matter is registered, and the status of any matter, including billing, can then be tracked. All bills and documentation from the file can be accessed at any time. Our web technology creates an online monitoring, management and reporting tool for managers and an instructing, reviewing and tracking tool for collections officers.

One significant benefit of our technology is the reporting functionality which significantly reduces the manual labour input required by our clients to meet their internal reporting demands !! to mortgage insurers, senior management or other stakeholders. Many of our management style reports have overtaken and replaced reports previously generated by our clients systems.

We are always looking at ways to improve our service and mutual productivity. To achieve this we have created a Strategy and Development team headed by Sue Clarke and Charlotte Christmas both of whom are experienced lawyers in the Collections field.
