Daren leads the Kemp Strang Commercial Practice and has worked as a lawyer and Partner for the firm for 17 years.

Daren is highly regarded for his sensitive handling of complex corporate advisory, financing and restructuring matters. He is a specialist in legal issues concerning sustainable building, renewable energy and professional services. In these areas, he has acted for Australia's leading green building certifier and in the financing and structuring of some of the country's best professional services firms.

Daren's deep experience across commercial law has seen him working for ASX Top 50 companies and some of the largest IPOs on the ASX. He is a published author, commenting on various aspects of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), provisions and proposals. He has served as a Director of the Commercial Law Association of Australia and as Secretary to its Legislative Review Task Force.
